Welcome to Winchburgh Primary School. It is my privilege to serve as the Head Teacher at Winchburgh and I welcome you as a parent/carer, visitor or interested member of the community.
Our website aims to showcase some of the fantastic work that our children and wider school community are engaged in as well as provide current information. You will also find links to our twitter feed, giving details of recent events across our learning community.
We are a welcoming school with an open-door policy. Both myself and Mrs Hailstones, along with the wider staff team, are happy to meet with you to discuss any points, queries or concerns you may have at the earliest opportunity. We can be contacted by telephoning the school office or via the school email address.
We work hard to provide excellent learning experiences and opportunities for all our children. We are always reflecting on our strengths and how we can further develop. It is important that we include all stakeholders in our evaluation at key points throughout the school year and we thank everyone who contributes to the success of our setting.
At the present time we are all working and living in different ways due to the COVID-19 pandemic - we have prepared a SWAY document for families that we hope you find useful: Winchburgh Primary School - COVID19 Pandemic - Information and Support SWAY
We hope you find our website useful and that it gives you a sense of Winchburgh Primary School and our Early Learning Centre.
Mr. Ian Harvey,
